Meet Ashieka
I have been a Hair Stylist for over 12 years. I have a love and passion for the art of styling hair. For as long as I can remember I have had my hands in someone's hair. During my "I really don't know what I'm doing" years, my family was kind enough or some may say crazy enough to be my "guinea pigs".
As my ability to do hair increased I felt it was time for me to get some real experience. Pat Hamel, owner of Movements Hair Salon in Oak Park, IL hired me as an assistant. While there, I worked with 5 hair stylists and after 1 year, gained the motivation I needed to enroll in hair school. Upon graduating in 1998, it was time for me to chose a salon and build my own clientele. In 2005, I ventured out and opened my very own salon, Honeycomb Hair Studio. It was a joy to have my very own location where I could set the atmosphere with music, candles and good conversations. My clients were able to come and relax for a short time, without worrying about spending their whole day with me.
However, in 2009, I closed the doors to Honeycomb to focus on being a wife to my husband, Garreth and our 3 children. This was a very bitter sweet moment in my hair styling career but I knew that it was time for me to put down the curling irons and scissors and focus on my family.
It's now 2011 and "I AM BACK"!!I am Picking up where I left off starting this summer. Join me in my big comeback...I look forward to seeing you in my chair!

Policy
As a Hair Stylist I value my clients time as well as my own. To better serve everyone please take note of the following policies:
Booking Appointments:
To ensure quality service for all clients please arrive 10mins prior to your service time.
Payment Method
I accept Visa, Mastercard, and Cash. I do not take checks or IOU (I Owe You). Payment must be received at the end of service.
Late Policy:
I understand that certain situation arise. Should you be running late, I will hold your appointment for 15mins provided I hear from you. If you are more than 15mins late your appointment may have to be rescheduled dependant upon my schedule. In addition you will be charged a $10 late fee.
Cancellation Policy:
I require a minimum of 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel appointments. If you fail to call or show your next visit will incur 50% of your missed appointment service.
Cell Phone:
We ask that you consider others, staff and patrons. Please no cell phones used during services and turn cell phone on vibrate at all times.
